Get to know Maria a bit more

I am Spanish of origin; however, I have lived in the UK for almost 40 years. I can say England is my home, the place I love, where I found love, married and had my daughter. I have never looked back and I am so grateful to be able to call England my home.

I often look back and smile. I used to fail English and Maths at school repeatedly. At the time, I thought I strongly disliked them. I was also a very shy girl after suffering bullying at school, but not only I took the English Certifications of Cambridge successfully, but ended living here in England, took further studies as an interpreter, went to university in London and took my IFS qualifications to become a financial adviser, using the same maths I thought I hated. If someone had told me as a child or young teenager how my life was going to turn out, I would have thought they were mad 😊

After becoming a therapist, I joined Women Today's well-being radio team and became a member of Calm Farm Team, a non-profit organization focused on promoting social inclusion and developing skills for children, parents, and caregivers in Bexhill on Sea. Additionally, I am affiliated with Anxiety UK as a partner. In recognition of my community service, I received an award in 2015.

I started working as a therapist in January 2012. I jumped from a successful career as a financial adviser for one of the largest financial institutions in the world to the unknown and the opportunity to become a therapist training in many rapid techniques. You may be wondering why I took such a risky decision. Well, life is your best teacher and challenges sometimes define the person you are and your journey.
As a financial advisor, I began to experience dissatisfaction with my life. Working for someone else felt restrictive, with endless hours and unsatisfying despite the great financial rewards and the substantial income. Moreover, my family saw less and less of me. However, I found great joy in helping my clients. This eagerness to assist people made me willing to leave the security of a well-paid job when something sparked my interest.

Watching my closests ones face mental and physical challenges prompted me to investigate alternative options that could prove beneficial. One day, while visiting an optometrist abroad, I was introduced to a mind-blowing technique that relieved someone suffering from constant pain in just 10 minutes. The optometrist gave me a book about the method and said, "Maria, you seem like someone drowning in the sea and clinging to a dingy in search of a solution. Read this book and learn this technique."
Upon returning to England, I was filled with excitement and unable to sleep. I immediately began searching for courses and training in the mind-blowing technique I had discovered while abroad. After volunteering at a shelter home and witnessing outstanding results, I realized that my true passion lay in providing help and making a positive difference in people's lives. By December 2011, I knew that continuing in finance was not for me, and by January 2012, I embarked on a new journey.

I trained in various other techniques and found that combining them resulted in rapid improvement for my clients, both mentally and physically. By 2015, I saw clients from all over the world and shifted to online therapy to provide the same results. My clients come from diverse backgrounds: mums and dads, students, skilled workers and professionals such as doctors, psychologists, famous singers and actresses and professionals with high-demanding jobs. I collaborated with organizations like Calm Farm, Grayfords Solicitors, and Anxiety UK and was a part of Women Today's well-being radio team. The common thread that bond us together was our desire to conquer stress, anxiety, and fear.

As someone once advised me, "If you're going to do something, do it well and give it your utmost." and that is exactly what I did. With years of experience, I created the "Beat Anxiety and Gain Confidence 6 Steps System" to help people overcome anxiety and panic while building self-esteem and confidence.
I have come across so many stories similar to mine. We all have great potentials hidden sometimes deep within waiting for us to find them. I see the Beat Anxiety and Gain Confidence 6 Steps System and all the techniques I use, as the key to make that magic happen.

May you find your magic, your potential and your happiness...
